After 5 days Istanbul, the New York of Turkey, we flew down to the coast and are now in a completely different world. We’re in Cirali, a very small, relaxing town on the coast between two mountains. One of mountains has natural flames of fire coming out of the ground called Chimaera. We’re going to see those tonight. The ancient ruins of Olympos are nearby.
The hotel has mountainbikes and we’ll ride over there. The beach, which is framed by the mountains, is just a few minutes by foot. The hotel has great food, and we’re drinking freshly squeezed juice in the village. Other than that, all we hear is the breeze through the trees and the ocassional rooster. Perfect! We’ll be here a few days before moving down the coast.
